HARRAH'S CASINO, NEW ORLEANS JAZZ COURT.

15 relief panels ranging from 12 to 36' long with over 80 figures total depicting the chronological progression of Jazz. Jazz Court was the premier project that launched CMN Enterprises (later Chiodo Entertainment) as a grand scale production company. At the time I was subcontracted as a Figurative Consultant, and Art Direction Project Manager for a crew of over 30 different artists and fabricators. Jazz Court was unveiled by the Mayor of New Orleans for the Harrah's grand opening as the casino's primary visual attraction and a landmark sculpted work for the Crescent City.

Figures were carved out of sprayed foam and covered and detailed in structolite. Most of the heads were sculpted and cast separately, while hands and instruments were done in Magic Sculpt.
